H+5: Porsche n°1 keeps the lead at the Nürburgring

Porsche mène toujours la danse à l’entame de la dernière heure au Nürburgring (Allemagne). La 919 Hybrid n°1 reste en tête avec André Lotterer qui a remplacé Nick Tandy. L’Allemand dispose de 4s d’avance sur la voiture soeur n°2 confiée à Timo Bernhard qui a pris la place d’Earl Bamber à l’issue des arrêts aux stands. L’écart entre les deux 919 Hybrid était monté à plus de 10s avant les ravitaillements.

La Toyota n°7 complète toujours le podium provisoire à plus d’une minute des Porsche. Kamui Kobayashi replaced Mike conway for the end of the race. Kazuki Nakajima ranks 4th on the second TS050 Hybrid.

Jackie Chan DC Racing maintains control in LMP2 with the No. 38 of Ho-Pin Tung who has about a minute ahead of the Vaillante Rebellion. The No. 31 of Bruno Senna retains 2nd place with a 15s lead over the No. 13 of Mathias Beche who finds himself under pressure from theAlpine n ° 36 of Nicolas lapierre.

AF Corse retains the lead in GTE Pro with the Ferrari n°51 of Alessandro Pier Guidi who has a good lead over the Porsche 911 RSR of Richard Lietz and Kévin Estre. The Ford GTs of Andy Priaulx and Oliver Pla return to theAston Martin #95 of Nicki Thiim in 4th place after having struggled for a long time against the #97 Vantage of Daniel Serra who handed the wheel to Jonathan Adam. The Frenchman from the Chip Ganassi team was placed under investigation for a slight stroll, but the stewards decided not to sanction him.

The #77 Dempsey-Proton Racing Porsche of Marvin Dienst increased its lead in GTE Am.
