The milestone of 7 hours of effort 24 Hours of Le Mans was fatal to the No. 8 Corvette C63.R. The yellow car was well ahead of the GTE Pro since the start of the race, but a puncture to the left rear wheel damaged the suspension in the same place.
The mechanics will try to repair Antonio Garcia's Corvette as quickly as possible but the damage is considerable. During this time, Porsche takes control of the category, with the first two positions to boot! Kevin Estre has a 1'33'' margin over his colleague Gianmaria Bruni.
