The Automobile Club de l'Ouest extends its partnership with GreenGT and entrusts it with the exclusive supply of the one-design powertrain intended for the electric-hydrogen prototypes which will evolve in 24 Hours of Le Mans from 2024.
GreenGT joins Plastic Omnium (tanks) and Red Bull-Oreca (chassis) as supplier of the main technological components which will be used by competitors in the category.
GreenGT will provide, for each car entered, a powertrain (battery, electric motors and their power electronics, gearbox).
The entire fuel cell system which constitutes the heart of hydrogen technology (fuel cell, power control hardware and software, compressors, cooling system) will be open to competition and developed by each competitor.
The announcement is in no way a surprise, since Green GT is the architect of the launch of Mission H24 in 2018, with the ACO.
