16 years ago, Sébastien Enjolras…

He was only 21 years old, was one of Henri Pescarolo's protégés, and was destined to become one of the spearheads of French motorsport. But on May 3, 1997, victim of a tragic accident near the bends Porsche, during the preliminary tests of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the native of Seclin (Nord-Pas-de-Calais) left us.

Third in the 1994 Formula Campus, French Formula champion Renault 1996, Sébastien Enjolras was preparing to take part in his second double round of the Sarthe race, at the wheel of a WR engine Peugeot .

On this sad anniversary day, the entire AUTOhebdo editorial team has a thought for those close to them, and in particular for their parents, Vivy and Michel, their brother and sister-in-law Pascal and Cathy and for Serge, their manager.
