As announced in AUTOhebdo for several weeks, Iron Lynx et Iron Dames rouleront en Porsche in the world championshipEndurance (WEC) in 2023. The two teams of the DC Racing Solutions structure (bringing together Iron Lynx, Iron Dames and Prema in particular) will abandon the Ferrari 488 GTE for the Porsche 911 RSR in 2023.

A change of frame thanks to the new partnership with Proton Competition. The team led by Christian Ried will bring its expertise this season, while Iron Lynx waits for the introduction of the LMGT3 category in the WEC next year. A year of transition therefore, before Iron Lynx and Iron Dames operate Lamborghinis in 2024, as part of the global partnership between the Cesena team and the Sant'Agata Bolognese brand.

Trio unchanged among the Iron Dames, Schiavoni confirmed at Iron Lynx

On the crew side, however, no notable changes. In the Iron Dames, the trio from last season remains unchanged, with Sarah Bovy, Michelle Gatting and Rahel Frey, at the controls of the No. 85 car. As a reminder, Doraine Pin will be entered in LM P2 with Prema in 2023. At present, the Iron Lynx line-up is still incomplete. Only Claudio Schiavoni has been confirmed to drive in the #60 car. The other two drivers will be confirmed " in the near future ".

“We are extremely happy to be competing in the WEC again this season, said Andrea Piccini, director of the Iron Lynx team. It will be a huge honor to see the colors of Iron Lynx and Iron Dames on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of one of the most prestigious races in the world of endurance, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. After the recent announcement of our exciting next chapter with Lamborghini in GT and LMDh, the choice of Porsche for our GTE campaign seemed like a natural extension and fits perfectly into the overall framework. »
