Jan Magnussen dreams of Le Mans 2020 and LMDh

Although thanked by Corvette Racing, Jan Magnussen could well be the start of the next 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 13-14), an event which saw him achieve four category victories.

Credited with a first entry due to her participation in the entire WEC with its Oreca n°33 (Fjordbach-Patterson-Yamashita), High Class Racing submitted to the selection committee a request for an invitation for its second 07, registered in ELMS, to which Magnussen will be aligned if accepted.

« I had a great time with High Class Racing in Bahrain (during the rookie tests in December. Editor's note) last year and I know that I will enjoy working with the team if the No. 20 Oreca receives an invitation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, rejoices the person concerned. Going to Prototype would be really nice. The premier class of the WEC is heading in the right direction. The LMDh rules are promising and could attract more manufacturers, I can't wait to see what the future holds. Doing Le Mans with High Class Racing this year is a great opportunity to start a relationship that could see me join the WEC and LMDh in the future. »

The idea would be to entrust this Oreca n°20 to a 100% Danish crew. The two other drivers likely to join Magnussen will be announced later.
