Racing Team Netherlands will modify its lines for the opening of the 2019-2020 season of the World ChampionshipEndurance on September 1st at Silverstone in England, as well as for the meeting in Shanghai on November 10th.

At Silverstone, the training of Frits van Eerd will always align the boss-pilot next to Giedo van der Garde, but the usual third driver Nyck de Vries will be replaced by Job van Uitert. De Vries will indeed be retained in the FIA F2 at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, and will give way to the resident of G-Drive Racing this year.

For the Chinese round, Frits van Eerd will not be traveling. “Frits has supported me since my first year in motorsport and I am very happy and proud to now be able to drive for Racing Team Nederland. » comments the 20-year-old pilot.

The latter is competing in the 2019 European campaign ofELMS within the Russian team with Roman Rusinov and Jean-Eric Vergne, and took part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans last June on the Oreca 07 of the structure incubated by TDS Racing.

An experience that he intends to put to good use with Racing Team Nederland. “We have a strong team and with the Oreca we must be a podium candidate in both races. » advances van Uitert.

After two seasons with the Dallara P217 operated by Dayvtec, the Dutch team turned to Oreca and TDS Racing for 2019-2020, in order to potentially climb the hierarchy in LM P2.
