Three times winner of the LM P2 in WEC last year (in Austin, Bahrain and Brazil), the team KCMGMore, based in Hong Kong, will evolve in 2015 with the latest from ORECA, the LM P2 closed prototype ORECA 05, as we mentioned in issue 1996 of AUTOhebdo, available in digital version and on newsstands. A request for commitment in the World ChampionshipEndurance and 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 13-14) was filed.

“Our partnership with ORECA, as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship, yielded excellent results in 2014. We are delighted to extend our collaboration this year with this incredible team led by Hugues de Chaunac, explains Paul Ip, Founder of KCMG. 2015 will mark our third year in endurance and with this recent acquisition, the brand new ORECA 05, we feel confident: better results await us for this next season in LM P2! »

“The team was one of the most successful in the FIA World Endurance Championship and could legitimately have claimed the titles. 2015 will be synonymous with change in continuity: change because KCMG will discover the new ORECA 05, continuity because together we will be able to capitalize on the links forged in 2014. This must be the year of realization! We are happy with the trust shown and maintained by KCMG. It is a high quality, very professional structure. The choice of KCMG confirms the international dimension of our construction activity. » admits Hugues de Chaunac, president of the ORECA group.

If no driver has yet been confirmed by KCMG, it would not be surprising to see Richard Bradley, Matt Howson and Alexandre Imperatori reunited again. The first public appearance of the new weapon of the Asian team is planned for the WEC Prologue at Paul Ricard, in the Var, on March 27 and 28.
