Kevin Magnussen will be at the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans next August, in the High Class Racing Oreca 07 LM P2, alongside his father Jan.

Kevin Magnussen joins his father Jan for the 24 Hours of Le Mans

After the Andretti family or the Mansells, the Magnussen will enter the history of the families reunited during the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The High Class Racing team confirmed this Friday that alongside Anders Fjordbach and Jan Magnussen, Kevin Magnussen will complete the trio in the No. 07 Oreca 2 LM P49 during the double round of the clock at La Sarthe on August 21 and 22.

The future pilot Peugeot Sport and ex-Haas F1 Team will thus join his father in competition for the first time, the latter officiating in WEC with Anders Fjordbach.

Kevin Magnussen is playing this season in IMSA within Chip Ganassi Racing and will thus make his debut in Sarthe, an important experience before joining the Peugeot Hypercar adventure.
