24 Hours of Le Mans – Kubica, the big brother

On and off the track, the Pole played a key role within the WRT team. Despite his inexperience at Le Mans and twenty-four hour races, the former F1 driver was essential to his crew and the Belgian team.

Although he has tried everything, and has been competitive with all the types of cars he has driven in his rich career, Robert Kubica did not arrive at Le Mans boasting. When asked to judge his chances of victory last Thursday, he immediately invoked the respect and humility that one must show before measuring oneself against such a monument. “I don’t think too much about winning, he retorted to us.
