The ACO reacts to Ferrari's return to the premier class at Le Mans

The Hypercar field already promises epic battles. This announcement is excellent news for Endurance, which is relies on an attractive settlement and a future that looks bright. »

 

 

Richard Mille, President of the FIA ​​Endurance Commission: “From the start of the project, we took a lot of risks in developing the concept of Le Mans Hypercar, and a lot of effort and perseverance went into defining the regulations so that they reflected the spirit of what we wanted it to be LMH, that is to say accepting the different philosophies in terms of technical approaches, architecture and aesthetics of cars within the same category.

Today we can be satisfied with the results obtained, Ferrari having joined other renowned brands who have already declared their commitment. Ferrari has a long and prestigious track record in racing. The brand most recently won the FIA ​​World Endurance Championship for Manufacturers in the GT category, but it has also achieved several overall victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
