Aston Martin Vantage main beneficiary of BoP for Silverstone

The latest version of the GTE Pro Balance of Performance was revealed before the 6 Hours of Silverstone. The Aston Martin Vantages are the main ones affected.

Aston Martin Vantage main beneficiary of BoP for Silverstone

Largely dominated by the competition from the opening of the season at Spa-Francorchamps last May, the new Aston Martin Vantage, powered by its new V8 unit and lined up in GTE Pro, will see its Balance of Performance modified in preparation for the 6 Hours of Silverstone this weekend.

Established without taking into account the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which benefit from specific balancing, the BoP for the English round of WEC offer 5 liters more tank capacity for the Vantage (from 98 to 103 liters. The British GT will also see its boost increased by 0,06 between 4000 and 7200 rpm.

The other change concerns the Ferrari 488 GTE, which sees its boost increased by 0,01 between 4000 and 7000 rpm. However, no change is to be noted in GTE Am.
