The futuristic concept of the Porsche 908

“As a designer, I chose the “long trail” version because these Porsches were truly unique, explains Alan Derosier, the project leader. Until now, as far as I know, no one has made a modern version of this car. I thought it would be a sort of revival of a myth that would bring nostalgia. »

“Porsche is one of the rare brands to have evolved while retaining a unique design and its own identity., continues Alan Derosier. I didn't want to recreate something. In my opinion, objects with complex details span the ages and that’s how I see Porsche. We worked with the idea of having realistic dimensions and taking into account constraints such as driving position, visibility, door opening, width, length and height, etc. »

In order to create the Porsche 908/04, the team had to work almost two years on its project, i.e. around 5000 hours of work.
