Ferrari strikes a double blow in Portimão. In the Algarve, the Italian manufacturer completed three days of driving for its 296 GT3, but also for its Hypercar. A test session which is part of the development program for the flocked LMH of the Chavel Cabré ahead of its planned competitive debut at the 12 Hours of Sebring, the opening round of the World ChampionshipEndurance, in March 2023.

Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Davide Rigon took turns at the wheel of the prototype. Rigon, Molina and Pier Guidi also took the wheel of the 296 GT3 on the Portuguese track. “The Algarve circuit has been a great testbed for different types of testing, especially focusing on various setup configurations. The changing weather over the three days alternated sessions on dry asphalt with others on wet tracks., explains the trans firmalpine.
