The Glickenhaus 007 LMH reveals itself a little more

Very active on social networks, the Team Cameron Glickenhaus allows us to experience the day-to-day progress of work on his 007 LMH, which is due to begin in WEC, on April 4, during the 8 Hours of Portimão (Portugal), in the Hypercar category.

After the first start of the twin-turbo V8 designed by Pipo Engines, the American team first published a very brief video of its latest creation devoid of any bodywork elements traveling a few meters in a parking lot before seeing it in its complete version in night from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Equipped with aerodynamics that are atypical to say the least with a hood as long as it is surprising, with a rear wing equipped with a main plane equipped with several aerodynamic appendages, we are now looking forward to seeing the future rival of the Toyota GR010 Hybrid.

It won't be long since the shakedown is scheduled for this week, on Thursday and Friday, February 25 and 26, on the Vallelunga track, not far from Rome, in Italy. Should be requisitioned for the occasion the house pilot Franck Mailleux and the Alésien Romain Dumas.

Driving sessions are then planned in Monza at the beginning of March, then again in Vallelunga in the ten days that follow. By March 16, all seven recruited pilots should have taken the wheel of their new weapon.

As a reminder, the two French people mentioned above will be joined by the American Gustavo Menezes, the Australian Ryan Briscoe, the British Richard Westbrook, the Brazilian Pipo Derani and the Toulouse Olivier Pla.
