The entry list for the 6 Hours of Silverstone modified

Initially full of 36 cars, the starting grid for the third round of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) at Silverstone (Great Britain, August 17-19) was reduced by two entries in the LM P1 Non-Hybrid category. The Ginetta G60-LT-P1s of the Manor team (officially CEFC TRSM Racing) forfeited for a late engine change.

Some crews have been modified since the first list published at the end of June. At ByKolles, René Binder will replace the Briton Oliver Webb on the Enso CLM P1/01 – Nismo while Dominik Kraihamer will be absent. The Austrian team is testing at the beginning of August the Frenchman Enzo Guibbert in Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium).

Matevos Isaakyan leaves SMP Racing after two spectacular accidents in as many races this season. The BR Engineering BR1 n°17 only has two drivers left (Stephane Sarrazin and Egor Orudzhev).

In LM P2, the Japanese Yoshiharu Mori, a regular at the Asian Le Mans Series and Blancpain GT Asia, takes the seat previously assigned to Julien Canal at Larbre Compétition. The crews Aston Martin Racing were also changed to GTE Pro, with the absence of Darren Turner and Jonny Adam, not replaced for the remainder of the year.

In GTE Am, gentleman driver Khaled Al-Qubaisi remains on foot, replaced by Gianluca Roda in Dempsey-Proton Competition.
