The #911 Porsche 91 RSR loses its second place

Les déclassements des deux Toyota TS050 Hybrid à l’issue des 6 Heures de Silverstone n’aura pas été la seule péripétie d’après-course en Angleterre. Deuxièmes du GTE Pro derrière la Ferrari 488 n°51 by James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi, Gianmaria Bruni et Richard Lietz (Porsche 911 RSR n°91) lost their result after the technical checks.

In question, a 911 RSR deemed too low (48 mm against 50 mm authorized by the regulations). Porsche did not contest the measure taken by the commissioners, arguing however that the car had suffered from very significant degradation of the rubber.

In fact, the No. 67 Ford GT of Harry Tincknell and Andy Priaulx climbs into second position in the category, ahead of the second No. 911 Porsche 92 RSR of Kevin Estre and Michael Christensen.
