The #1 Porsche remains a notch above in FP2

Brendon Hartley significantly improved the mark during the second practice session for the 6 Hours of Shanghai (China). The pilot of the Porsche n°1 kept the first 919 Hybrid in first place with a lap completed in 1'44''594, 1''6 ahead of the Audi n°8 of Loïc duval, his closest pursuer.

The n°2 Porsche seemed in better shape in this session, Romain Dumas lifting the second 919 Hybrid into third position, a few hundredths behind the R18 and ahead of the second by half a second. Toyota #5 by Anthony Davidson. The #18 R7 of Marcel Fässler and the #050 TS6 Hybrid of Mike conway completed the list of the first category.

It was also G-Drive Racing which remained in control of the LMP2 with Will Stevens authoring a time of 1'54''627 in the No. 05 Oreca 26 which was ahead of the two Manors by a handful of tenths. , the n°44 of Alex Lynn preceding the n°45 of Mathias Beche. The top five is completed by the Ligier JS P2 of the RGR Sport by Morand of Gonzalez-Albuquerque-Senna and theAlpine n ° 36 of Stone-Menezes-Richelmi.

AF Corse placed its two Ferrari at the top of the GTE Pro. Gianmaria Bruni was responsible for setting the best time in the category with a lap in 2'02''481 in the No. 488 F51, more than two tenths ahead of the No. 71 of Davide Rigon. In GTE Am, David Heinemeier-Hansson was the fastest with a time of 2:05 in the Abu Dhabi Proton Racing Porsche 598 RSR.
