Winner twice at Fuji Speedway in 2012 and 2013, Kazuki Nakajima left the spotlight last Sunday to his teammates in the No. 6 Stéphane Sarrazin – Mike conway - Kamui Kobayashi.
However, the driver of the No. 050 TS5 Hybrid did not hide his joy after the finish, aware of the importance of the result for the Japanese brand at home. “I am delighted with the progress made. Today, I have the feeling that we have reached a milestone. At Le Mans, we missed something. Winning here is not as strong as winning in Sarthe, but we have achieved something great. »
“Before the 6 Hours of Spa, we do not know everyone’s chances of victory at Le Mans. The level that was reached between 2015 and 2016 is more than significant... I am therefore convinced that this car has huge potential that we will extract next year. »
