Lapierre: “A lively and efficient Toyota TS030”

Nicolas lapierre a participé aux premiers essais de la Toyota TS030 qu’il partagera en World Endurance Championship with the Austrian Alexander Wurz and the Japanese Kazuki Nakajima. The Frenchman was very optimistic at the end of this driving session and speaks of very healthy behavior from the car.

“After my first laps, my first impression is very positive: the chassis is really advanced and the hybrid system runs well. The TS030 Hybrid responds well to the steering wheel, combining a lively and efficient response with impressive ground support, which gives the driver a very good feeling. It has nothing to do with anything I have known so far, because the philosophy is different. The first tests are therefore promising, and we have seen the potential of the car on several levels. We still have a lot to do, but I think we will have a competitive car. And since we’re starting from a blank page, it’s an interesting challenge. »
