The Gavin-Milner duo on the Corvette C7.R in Shanghai
The final 2018 round of the Super-Season WEC will see Corvette strengthen the GTE Pro field with a Corvette C7.R opposed to the regulars Ferrari, Ford, BMW, Aston Martin et Porsche. Doug Fehan's entity will finally trust Tommy Milner and Oliver Gavin, partners in IMSA for many seasons. This confirmation is one of the changes to be noted in the entry list for the Chinese round of the WEC, with also the replacement at BMW of Augusto Farfus, retained for the FIA GT World Cup in Macau, by Tom Blomqvist, already seen in Fuji to replace the Brazilian, then aligned in DTM.
Tom Dillmann and Oliver Webb are well confirmed in the Enso CLM P1/01 – Nismo of ByKolles Racing in LM P1, a category where the Ginetta G60-LT-P1 will still be absent. Only Giorgio Roda and Matteo Cairoli are official in the No. 911 Dempsey-Proton Racing Porsche 88 RSR in GTE Am.
