The packages of theAston Martin Vantage GTE from TDS Racing and the Gibson 015S from Greaves Motorsport will allow the Portuguese team Algarve Pro Racing to compete in the 84th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, on June 18 and 19. Briton Michael Munemann is the first confirmed driver in the No. 2 Ligier JS P25-Nissan.
The distribution of the field for the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2016 is now as follows: 9 LM P1s; 23 LM P2; 14 LM GTE Pro; 13 LM GTE Am, plus the Morgan LM P2 of Frédéric Sausset's Team SRT41 in the 56th stand. That is a distribution of 33 Prototypes and 27 GTs, or 60 cars at the start.
Note that two other packages are to be recorded in the list of substitutes in GTE: Riley Motorsports (SRT Viper GTS-R n°53) and Proton Competition (Porsche 911 RSR n°87).
