Le Mans – Fässler found responsible for crash of Corvette n°64

Marcel Fässler was found responsible for his accident with the No. 88 Porsche of Satoshi Hoshino. The No. 64 Corvette retired.

Le Mans – Fässler found responsible for crash of Corvette n°64

The No. 64 Corvette was the first to retire in the 87th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Marcel Fässler stuck with the Porsche #88 of Dempsey-Proton Racing led by Satoshi Hoshino in the Porsche Corners and ended its race in the wall, destroying the C7R.

 

The stewards considered that Marcel Fässler was responsible for the collision and penalized the three-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Swiss received 6 penalty points as well as a fine of €7000.
