The No. 2 Audi dominates the LM P1-H with Benoît Tréluyer at the controls ahead of the Porsche n ° 20 of Brendon Hartley and the No. 1 Audi of Lucas di Grassi. Behind the leading trio, it is the Toyota #8 of Anthony Davidson who took advantage of the track exit at Indianapolis into the gravel trap of the #14 Porsche to move up to 4th place.
The LM P2 category has evolved slightly with still a minute and a half ahead for the #2 Oak Racing Ligier JS P35 with Alex Brundle on board but this time over the sister car of Thiriet by TDS Racing which is now ahead of theAlpine A450 by Nelson Panciatici.
In GTE if the Am is still dominated by the #95 Aston of Nicki Thiim, the #97 Vantage which dominated had to change its pads, leaving the field open to Gianmaria Bruni and the Ferrari n°51 of AF Corse which is one lap ahead of the Englishwoman.
