Le Mans – H18: Audi maintains the advantage against Porsche

Marc Gené remains at the head of 24 Hours of Le Mans six hours from the finish at the wheel of Audi n°1 which is almost a lap ahead of Mark Webber still on the Porsche No. 20. The second R18 of Marce Fässler is still in third position ahead of the Toyota n ° 8 of Nicolas lapierre and the No. 14 Porsche of Romain Dumas.

If the #35 G-Drive Racing Ligier keeps the lead in LMP2 with Jann Mardenborough replacing Mark Shulzhitskiy, theAlpine found itself threatened by the Ligier du Thiriet by TDS Racing led by Ludovic Badey following the change of driver where Nelson Panciatici gave way to Paul-Loup Chatin. The Frenchman finally had to give in after encountering problems forcing him to return to the pits.

The fight for the lead in GTE Pro offers a magnificent spectacle between Aston Martin et Ferrari. Gianmaria Bruni took the lead in the category at the wheel of the #458 F51 after having fought a good duel against Bruno Senna in the #97 Vantage. The No. 92 Porsche of Marco Holzer still completes the provisional podium. In GTE Am, the #95 Aston Martin of David Heinemeier-Hansson is still in first place.
