Le Mans – Porsche 911s lose weight before the race

En 2016, le changement de Balance de Performance entre les qualifications et la course en GTE Pro avait fait beaucoup parler et une modification va intervenir cette année pour les Porsche 911 RSR, dont la nouvelle version fait ses grands débuts dans la Sarthe.

The German GTs, now powered by an engine block placed in the central rear position, will receive a reduction in their mass by 8 kg. The n°91 of Pilet – Makowiecki – Lietz and n°92 of Estre – Christensen – Werner should find a little more performance tomorrow in the race, after having concluded qualifying yesterday evening in 7th position for n°92 and 11th position for No. 91 in the category.
