The Balance of Performance was revised in GTE Pro on the eve of the departure of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The results achieved in qualifying have pushed the ACO and the FIA to correct certain parameters, which will not fail to fuel debate in the paddock.
The Ferrari 488 GTE and the Ford GT are impacted by these modifications since the Italian cars will be weighed by 15 kg while the American GTs will have a ballast of 10 kg. Both models will also have reduced turbo pressure.
On the other hand, the Corvette C7R and the Aston Martin Vantage, en retrait lors des essais de la 84e édition, verront leurs brides augmentées de 0,2 mm. Les Porsche 911 RSR voient elles leur capacité de réservoir augmentée de trois litres alors que les Ferrari et Aston Martin gagnent deux litres de contenance.
