Toyota TS050s weighed down for Test Day

The latest version of the Equivalence of Technology (EoT) published by the FIA and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest ahead of the Test Day 24 Hours of Le Mans (2 juin), fait apparaître quelques changements, notamment du côté du clan Toyota.

The TS050 Hybrid will weigh 888 kg, an additional 10 kg compared to the 24 2018 Hours of Le Mans, where the Japanese team triumphed for the first time.

In terms of the total mass of private LM P1s, the prototypes powered by an atmospheric block will start with 816 kg, compared to 833 for the BR1 – SMP Racing, which relies on their turbo engine.

Among other information available, the maximum fuel flow will be 115 kg/h for private LM P1s, an increase compared to 2018 (108 kg/h), compared to 80 kg/h for the Toyota TS050 Hybrid (value unchanged).

However, several data remain to be defined, such as the maximum fuel available per relay, set at 52,5 kg for private P1s in 2018. Toyotas will be able to count on 35,1 kg in this plan, as in 2018.

Refueling restrictors will still be 19mm for Toyota, with the value still to be defined for other LM P1s.
