Lola-Toyota Rebellion: first photo

The Swiss Rebellion-Racing team is ready to start the 2011 season. The team will take part in the official Le Mans Series tests on the Paul Ricard circuit at the end of the week and will be entered in the 12h of Sebring.

The new Lola-Toyota will perform its baptism of fire next week during the first round of the ILMC at Sebring. As a preview, the Swiss team reveals a first photo of the 2011 car, powered by a Toyota engine.

“The team worked incredibly hard over the winter. The mechanics are the unsung heroes of the moment, they put so much effort into getting the cars ready. We have developed a strong package and we have high expectations for the upcoming season. Our relationship with the engineers and management of Toyota Motorsport is very good and productive, we have strengthened our technical team and we can count on fast and experienced drivers. All three cars are now on their way to the tracks (Sebring and Paul-Ricard, editor's note) and we can't wait to see them in action! » explains Bart Hayden, Rebellion-Racing team manager.

This year, Rebellion Racing has renewed its confidence in Neel Jani and Nicolas Cheers in No. 12, they will be accompanied by Jeroen Bleekemolen. In the No. 13 Guy Smith will join Andrea Belicchi and Jean-Christophe Boullion on the track where they together obtained a podium during the opening round of the Le Mans Series 2010.
