Franck, it must be a frustrating time for you, without a seat for the season?
It is obvious that this is not a very comfortable situation, but I am confident that we will find a solution quickly. With the experience and results acquired over the last four years, I know that I would adapt very well with any team looking for results and technical input. I remain extremely motivated and determined to return to a cockpit. I'm ready to run!
How was the winter break?
It was hard because I hoped to continue WEC with Signatech-Nissan this year. Unfortunately, the general situation being very complicated, there were no opportunities. I didn?t give up and continued to train hard this winter, while recovering and improving some things from the 2012 season.
With only a few weeks until the start of the WEC, are you confident?
I have always adopted the same philosophy in and outside the car: never give up! I look forward to the WEC andELMS are starting because it promises to be very interesting championships. Of course, I would like to be part of it, and I remain focused on finding a solution, whether for Silverstone or the following races. I know my value, what I am capable of and I hope a team can see that too. I am currently in discussions with some people who could offer me a test at Paul Ricard for a competitive team, so there is still reason to be optimistic.
