Mark Webber “conscious and alert”
L’Australien Mark Webber, pilote de la Porsche 919 Hybrid n°20 a été victime d’une violente sortie de piste à Interlagos dans la dernière demi-heure de la course. L’ancien pilote F1 lost control of his 919, taking with him the Ferrari 458 Italia n°90 of Matteo Cressoni just before the start of the pit straight. Webber was taken care of by medical teams, before giving a reassuring wave of his arm on his stretcher.
The former F1 driver is “conscious and alert” at the circuit Medical Center according to the FIA. Cressoni emerged unscathed from this accident.
