The two 919 Hybrids lead the 6 Hours of the Nürburgring with two hours to go, but Audi remains a real threat.

Nürburgring-H+4: Porsche masters, Audi remains placed

The fourth hour of the 6 Hours of the Nürburgring saw the third implementation of a Full Course Yellow, after the CLM P1/01 of Oliver Webb's ByKolles Racing stopped at the side of the track after 3 hours 15 minutes of racing.

The two 919 Hybrid n°2 of Marc Lieb lead the debates ahead of the n°1 of Brendon Hartley, the two drivers of the brand being separated by seven seconds.

The two Audi R18s of Lucas di Grassi and Marcel Fässler follow at 15 and 30 seconds and remain in contention for victory, unlike the Toyotas, who are more than a lap behind for the n°5 of Kazuki Nakajima.

The No. 6 Toyota Conway – Sarrazin – Kobayashi was pushed into her box at 2:21 from the finish, after a stint of just nine laps. The Japanese LM P1 came out after 5 minutes of intervention, following a mechanical problem, and was up to four laps.

Signatech-Alpine keep control in LM P2 with theAlpine A460 n°36 of Stone – Menezes – Richelmi, with a lead of around 15 seconds over the No. 2 Ligier JS P43 of the RGR by Morand of Senna – Gonzalez – Albuquerque.

In GTE Pro, the Ferrari 488 n°51 by Bruni – Calado got rid of theAston Martin Vantage n°95 of Thiim – Sorensen restarted after the Full Course Yellow caused by the stopping of the CLM P1/01, and led the category before its stoppage, followed immediately by the British GTE. Sam Bird in the #488 Ferrari 71 took the temporary lead.

Aston Martin maintains the advantage in GTE Am with the #98 Vantage of Paul Dalla Lana which precedes the two Porsche 911 RSRs from Abu Dhabi – Proton Racing and the KCMG team. The Larbre Compétition Corvette C7.R is fourth ahead of the No. 458 Ferrari 83 Italia from Aguas-Perrodo – Collard, which was penalized 20 seconds on its next stop, for excessive speed during the last Full Course Yellow.
