Oliver Turvey completes CEFC TRSM Racing line-up

The No. 60 CEFC TRSM Racing Ginetta G1-LT-P6 will be entrusted to a 100% British crew for the 2018-2019 Super-Season of WEC. As the team confirmed this Wednesday, Oliver Rowland and Alex Brundle, already made official a few days ago, will be joined by their compatriot Oliver Turney.

The resident of NIO in Formula E thus completes its program car by endurance events and allows CEFC TRSM Racing to complete its crews before the start of the season scheduled for May 5 at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.

Passed by theELMS and winner at Le Mans in 2014 with JOTA Sport, Oliver Turvey subsequently found refuge in Japan by competing in Super GT with Drago Modulo Honda Racing, before turning to Formula E with NextEV.

“After winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans in LM P2, my objective has always been to move up to the higher category and fight for the overall victory, Turvey comments.

I would like to thank my NIO team for allowing me to take this opportunity and I am very grateful to Graeme Lowdon, John Booth and everyone at CEFC TRSM Racing for choosing me to race with their team in LM P1. »

The second LM P1 prototype powered by the Mecachrome unit will be entrusted to the trio Léo Roussel – Dean Stoneman – Charlie Robertson.
