After Ligier and the JS P217, and Dallara (see Ah n°2085) it is therefore the turn of Oreca to show its next LM P2 which will be rampant on international circuits in 2017. Nicolas lapierre also took the wheel for the first laps at Paul-Ricard.
The Var-based firm is one of four manufacturers with Dallara, Onroak and Riley Tech / Multimatic having received approval from the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, theIMSA and the FIA to develop future prototypes in the category.
Compliant with the new LM P2 regulations, the Oreca 07 will receive, in particular in championships governed by the ACO and the FIA, the unique Gibson engine. In IMSA, the JDC/Miller team has already announced its intention to field the 07 Varoise in 2017.
