Porsche leaves its mark on the Prologue

After Porsche 919 hybrid No. 17 during the morning session, it is the sister car No. 18 of the trio Romain Dumas? Neel Jani? Marc Lieb who dominated the last three hours of driving on the Paul Ricard circuit in Var. The winners of the 6 Hours of São Paulo last November also leave the French track with the best cumulative time of the two days, established during the night session yesterday in 1'37 "220 (compared to 1’41″289 in 2014) The Webber trio? Bernhard? Hartley ranks second at the end of this Prologue at 1″3.

Audi places its two R18 e-tron quattros behind the 919 Hybrid, with the No. 7 from Fässler? Tréluyer? Lotterer in front Duval ? di Grassi ? Jarvis. The LM P2 category saw the domination of the team KCMG and the No. 05 Oreca 47, driven by the Howson quartet? Bradley? Tandy? Stone, with a best performance signed yesterday evening in 1'47″456 in front of the No. 2 G-Drive Racing Ligier JS P26, entrusted to Julien Canal, Sam Bird and Roman Rusinov. Signatech-Alpine, and Panciatici's A450b? Chatin? Capillary ranks 3rd.

In GTE Pro as in GTE Am, the Aston Martin showed themselves to be the fastest. The #96 of Francesco Castellaci – Roald Goethe – Stuart Hall, entered in Am, even had the luxury of setting the best overall time in GTE this morning in 1'57″116. The No. 99 Rees Vantage? MacDowall dominated the GTE Pro ahead of the Ferrari 458 Italia by AF Corse from the Bruni duo? Vilander.

The competitors will now meet again on the weekend of April 12, for the first round of the championship, contested on the Silverstone track in England.
