Prodrive had a successful year with Aston Martin, the Vantage GTE having won on multiple occasions even if it is Ferrari and AF Corse who won the GTE Pro titles in WEC. The British manufacturer's customer program has enabled the brand to be at the start of more than 500 races this year. Director of Management John Gaw will have more responsibilities next year as he will be in charge of the Mini programs in rally et rallycross. David Richards' structure is also interested in working on the Dakar and in Formula E.
“It’s an interesting time to do business”, says John Gaw. “We have already confirmed our 2014 programs with Aston Martin Racing and our customer teams. You will see our rally cars in WRC and in the National Championships and we should also have a rallycross program with the GRC and the new Championship set up by the FIA. I would also like us to run cars in Formula E, which has a phenomenal future, and to take part in the Dakar, which would be a natural progression given that we have 30 years of rallying experience. »
