In 2023, the team Proton Competition will have a lot to do. Not content to remain a customer of the prestigious brand Porsche in GT, the German team decided to participate in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) but also toIMSA across the Atlantic, with not one, but two Porsche 963 LMDhs.

The Proton Competition will not abandon Grand Touring, however, but does not yet explain in detail the continuation of the program in GTE Am, a category that the German team has been running since the beginning of the WEC in 2012.

However, the program looks more than tight for the Proton Competition. Indeed, a late delivery of the German prototypes could prevent this client team, as well as another WEC partner, the English team Jota, from being able to start the inaugural 2023 round at Sebring (Florida, March 17). Will they be a month later at the start of the 6 Hours of Portimão (Portugal, April 16)?
