Rebellion Racing will therefore field two LMP1s in the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 15-16). As we announce to you in issue 2253 of AUTOhebdo, the Swiss team will hire Romain Dumas, Louis Delétraz and Nathanaël Berthon to drive the No. 13 R-3 in the Sarthe and a little earlier at the 6 Hours of Spa (May 2).
“We are happy to trust Romain Dumas after our journey and success in the Dakar, recrossing our experiences made perfect sense! He will be of great help alongside his young teammates thanks to his experience at the 24 Hours of Le Mans,” commented Alexandre Pesci, the owner and president of Rebellion Racing.
“We are also supporting our young and talented Swiss driver, Louis Delétraz for his very first participation in the famous Le Mans race! We also hope that Nathanaël Berthon will be able to fully express his talent in this 88th edition”, he said.
Rebellion Racing will retain Bruno Senna, Gustavo Menezes and Norman Nato in the No. 1 entry for the season.
