Simon Trummer joins Manor

Simon Trummer has chosen Manor to play his second full season in WEC. The Swiss who trained in the GP2 Series before discoveringEndurance with ByKolles Racing will therefore aim for LMP2 this year by racing in one of the two Oreca 07s fielded by its new team.

“This season is a new chapter which begins in LMP2 with very powerful cars which will be significantly faster and more delicate to drive, declared the 27-year-old Swiss. We will aim for podiums in this very competitive category. I hope we can put CEFC Manor TRS Racing at the forefront. This team was one of the best in F3 and they got respect in F1 with very modest budgets. They are real competitors. »

CEFC Manor TRS Racing has just confirmed its third driver after Tor Graves and Ricardo Gonzalez, but the structure has not yet defined on which LMP3 the Swiss driver will compete.
