Jean-Éric Vergne demonstrates the truth of the adage “never two without three”. The Frenchman will compete in his third in 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans consecutive (June 13-14) on behalf of G-Drive Racing.
The double champion emerging from the Formula E will drive an Aurus 01, still in partnership with his sidekick, the Russian gentleman driver Roman Rusinov. To refine their weapons, an entry during the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium, April 24-25) is also planned.
Jean-Éric Vergne's best result in the Sarthe remains seventh place in the general classification with the Manor team in 2017. In 2018, Jean-Éric Vergne had lost his victory in LM P2 class on green carpet for an illegal refueling system with G-Drive Racing, before finishing sixth in 2019.
