Monday, Porsche established a new lap record on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit (Belgium) thanks to a extensively modified Porsche 919 Hybrid both aerodynamically (front end, rear wing) and mechanically (power increased to 1 horsepower). Neel jani completed the 7,004 km of the Ardennes route in barely 1'41"770, almost eight tenths faster than Lewis Hamilton on his Mercedes F1 during the 2017 Belgian Grand Prix.
