WEC – H2: Toyota and Porsche neck and neck

The fight for the lead of the race at Spa-Francorchamps is currently being fought between Toyota et Porsche. After leading for almost two hours, the No. 14 Porsche where Marc Lieb took the place of Neel Jani dropped to second place, a dozen seconds behind the No. 8 Toyota now driven by Sébastien Buemi. The TS040 made the difference thanks to a more efficient second stop. The second Toyota led by Kazuki Nakajima follows half a minute ahead of the three Audis who still seem to be struggling. Tom Kristensen leads the group on the No. 1 ahead of the No. 2 of Benoît Tréluyer and the No. 3 of Marc Bonanomi who is already one lap behind the leader of the race.

Roman Rusinov replaced Olivier Pla in the G-Drive Racing Morgan-Nissan which remains in the lead of LMP2 with half a minute ahead of the Jota Sport Zytek currently driven by Simon Dolan.

At the end of the judgments of Aston Martin, Gianmaria Bruni takes the lead in GTE Pro on the Ferrari n°51 of AF Corse. The Vantages remain in control of GTE Am with the #95 of Kristian Poulsen and the #98 of Christoffer Nygaard.
