WEC / Le Mans – Audi does the minimum with the hybrid

After choosing to abandon ESR-H on the new R18 e-tron quattro, Wolfgang Appel, head of development of the LMP1 project at Audi Sport, confirmed in issue 1953 of AUTOhebdo (to be published this evening in digital version) its registration in the lowest ERS class, with a value less than two megajoules in 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 14 and 15) which will be proportional on the other circuits of the Championship.

The representative of the Ingolstadt brand also took the opportunity to increase the displacement of its V6 TDI in force since 2011. The diesel will increase from 3,7l to 4l. The final livery of the German LMP1-Hs will be presented tomorrow at Le Mans.
