WEC – Panciatici “to conquer new victories” with Alpine

After dominating theELMS for two seasons, Signatech is preparing to return in WEC this time defending the colors ofAlpine. Within an LMP2 peloton which has recomposed itself well this year, Philippe Sinault's team will be able to count on the skills of Nelson Panciatici who has been following the team for three seasons.

“I am very happy to be able to return to the WEC, which I had already experienced in 2012 with the Signatech-Nissan team. It's a very exciting championship and I can't wait to be able to play there now under the colors of?Alpine », enthused Nelson Panciatici. “Being present in the WEC validates the very good work done by the team over the past two years and constitutes a logical progression after having won the ELMS title twice consecutively. Today, I only have one idea in mind, set out again to conquer new victories without forgetting that we will have to shine at Le Mans (Sarthe). »

Nelson Panciatici will reunite with Paul-Loup Chatin, while Vincent Capillaire will join the crew after shining on Sébastien's Oreca 03 Loeb Racing in the European Championship and 24 Hours of Le Mans. “I know Paul-Loup well and Vincent is also an excellent driver. We started working together and with the whole team to bring Alpine at the level we want. I hope we will have as good a season as last year! », added the 26-year-old double ELMS champion.

Signatech-Alpine took the last step of the LMP2 podium during the last double-lap at Le Mans.
