The livery of the A522 was presented in Paris while the final model is revealed in images published on the Internet.

Alpine launches the A522 in Paris with the arrival of pink

It was the penultimate team to present its car in preparation for the 2022 season Formula 1 this Monday, February 21. Alpine was keen to reveal the livery of the A522 that will be piloted Fernando Alonso et Esteban Ocon on the 23 circuits on the calendar in Paris, at the Palais de Tokyo:

The frame is adorned with pink in addition to the beauty Alpine traditional thanks to the arrival of BWT as title sponsor. The company specializing in the manufacture of water treatment systems was present from 2017 to 2021 on the bodywork of Force India, renamed Racing Point then Aston Martin, in F1.

To further highlight the partner, the livery colors will be reversed for the first two rounds of the year, in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia:

Alpine also took the opportunity to present the new managers of the team. Otmar Szafnauer replaces Marcin Budkowski as Team Principal while Bruno Famin will take on the role of Executive Director ofAlpine Racing at Viruses-Châtillon.

Laurent Red, the boss of the brand with the A arrow, also confirmed the objective of 100 Grands Prix before seeing the French team at the top of the hierarchy. 

“We have multiple ambitions, he said of the goal for the upcoming season.
