Alpine announced that it had reached an agreement with BWT, the Austrian water treatment company, so that it becomes the title sponsor of the team. The structure ofenstone will therefore be known as BWT Alpine F1 team. In addition, and as announced by AUTOhebdo, the A522, the future single-seaterAlpine, predominantly blue, will take on a pink tint, the color of the BWT company. The A522 will be revealed on Monday February 21.

BWT was the title partner of Racing Point in 2020, and a sponsor for Aston Martin F1 team, team in which Otmar Sfaznauer was the team principal and manager.
