Boullier: “A solid and reliable car”

Eric Boullier, appointed team manager of Renault F1 to get the team back on track, is in Valencia, where Renault will take part in the first pre-season tests. After presenting its drivers and the Renault R30, the Frenchman imagines a season during which the car 2010 will be more efficient than the R29.

« We worked hard throughout the winter to be ready for this new season, says Boullier. The R30 should be a competitive, strong and reliable car. It will also benefit from an aggressive development program. We are ready for the first tests of 2010 and we can't wait to measure the performance of the car »

New spearhead of the team, Robert Kubica knows that the work undertaken at enstone was important in turning things around after a disappointing 2009 season. “ The team has been focusing on the development of the car for quite some time now and it is clear that we are heading in the right direction. », Explains the Pole. “ We will have to maximize winter testing and continue to improve the car. It must be constant in its behavior, whatever the conditions. »

Renault will take to the track this week on the Ricardo-Tormo circuit, where the first pre-season tests are taking place.
