The news caused a stir and concerned the World Champion Drivers' and Manufacturers' team. Brawn GP had in fact concluded an agreement with the Henkel firm for a partnership contract worth 90 million euros.
But earlier this month, the German company indicated that the agreement was invalid because it had been signed by a former employee. Brawn GP, however, maintained its position and even threatened to take the matter to court.
In a press release, Brawn GP finally wanted to clarify the situation. “ Brawn GP announced that the disagreement between Brawn GP and Henkel regarding a partnership contract in Formula 1 had been resolved by mutual agreement. All potential complaints will be dropped. As a result, all legal actions will be withdrawn. »
