The joy of Jenson Button on the podium, as well as that of his engineer Andrew Shovlin, proves once again that we worked hard this weekend at Brawn GP to get there. The level of performance of the team's two cars no longer needs to be demonstrated, but the strategy still needs to follow. On this point, we can trust Ross Brawn.
“It's another very good team performance today and a second victory that is completely deserved for Jenson and the team,” confides Ross Brawn. “The least we can say is that there were quite a few events in the race and I am really satisfied with our ability to react to changing conditions. This allowed Jenson to keep first place, which he conquered during his first stint. The result is not perfect however, as we could have had both cars on the podium if we had been a little more daring, opting for intermediate tires at one point. We are very happy with our start to the season. Two pole positions and two victories! We can't ask for more than that. If we are here, it is thanks to the talent, attitude and dedication of our entire team. »
