Campos: the second wind?

The fate of the Campos team is still up in the air, less than a month before the start of the racing season. Formula 1, in Bahrain. While the third of four pre-season testing sessions began this week in Jerez, Campos is still far from showing the end of his car.

However, the project is still alive and could find a second wind. According to Autosport, the majority shareholder, Jose Ramon Carabante, is in the process of taking full control of Adrian Campos' team, in order to allow the Spanish team to compete in the Formula 1 season.

To support Bruno Senna, the names of Karun Chandhok, GP2 driver in 2009, and Bertrand Baguette, titled last year in Formula Renault 3.5 Series, are advanced. In addition, the magazine confides that Jose Ramon Carabante has recruited Dr. Colin Kolles, former team principal of Force India, and Geoff Willis, former technical director of Red Bull.

Campos is one of four teams to enter Formula 1 this season. Currently, only the Virgin Racing and Lotus Racing teams have started pre-season testing.
